I finally got my camera, so that means that I will get a chance to finally bring you the so promised video-blogs.
Hopefully you can stop by and drop me an ask telling me what would you like to see in the channel. The videos are for you, after all.
Thanks for sticking with me for all this time.
Hello, people following The Green Hope Network!
I have started a fundraising in honor of my birthday with Causes ® and I am going to help Nature Concervancy, Inc.
The purpose is to raise at least $250, and since I am turning 18, the suggested amount is $18, but you can donate whichever quantity you desire.
My birthday is next wednesday, October 3rd and that is when the fundraising is over. You can click here to start donating for my birthday wish:
I would feel very honoured if you help me here. Nothing would make me happier than to know people are helping the planet as my birthday gift. So, if you wish to make a girl happy on her birthday and by means, help conserve the environment via donating to a non-profit organisation, please donate to Nature Concervancy today!
Thanks everyone for their time and generous cooperation.
So sorry about the absence. I’ve been working on a new version of this project, so soon enough you’ll have around with new ideas for the blog and more frequent updates.
Meanwhile I am looking for a co-runner of this blog. If you are interested in forming part of this project, message me or send me an e-mail to email@example.com
All I will need is your personal information, such as: name, age, location and personal e-mail address.
The length of this project is unsure, but the requirement is until May of 2013. I may decide to stay for a while longer, depending on how things work for me. For now, I will be working harder this year until the date previously mentioned.
Thank you for reading and for sticking with this blog.
Keep it green!
Sincerely, Samantha Orihuela

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is one of the UK’s 15 National Trails and is, if you ask me, the most beautiful. Although, I haven’t done all of all of them, so take that with a pinch of salt. Instagram vomit is now over. For a while. (NB: Photo 5 features Tree Porn’s mum)
It’s summer vacations and in some places of this world, weather is extremely hot. You’ll probably be going to the beach or spend some time going to the pool with your family and friends.
What people are unaware of is the danger or the UV rays from the sun. It is very important that you protect your skin with an appropriate SPF sunscreen for your type of skin.
What is SPF? — SPF refers to Sun Protection Factor. If the sunscreen has an SPF of 15 or higher, it should be good. Nowadays we can purchase up to a 100 SPF sunscreen, either for oily skin and dry skin. This SPF is especially useful for those who suffer from extremely delicate skin.
However, our main goal is to try and find an eco friendly sunscreen, and a few years back, there were hardly no biodegradable sunscreen available for the consumers.
What is biodegradable? — If something is biodegradable, it means that it can be decomposed bye bacteria or other living organisms.
The chemicals used to make sunscreen are sometimes highly toxic, making them harder to decompose. Fortunately, there are biodegradable sunscreens available for everybody, though the SPF is a little lower.
If you apply sunscreen and you are planning to go outside, put your sunscreen approximately 15 minutes before the activity so that your skin absorbs the sunscreen and your skin is totally protected.
The benefits of sunscreen are various, and one of them is that you can buy water proof sunscreen if you plan to swim, or a specific sunscreen for your face in case you suffer from acne or oily skin.
We live in a world with huge advantages and advanced technology and science for our own favor. Some twenty years ago, people would have died of skin cancer because of poor SPF sunscreens, now, and besides all of the climate changes, we can prevent that form happening. So don’t be reckless and wear an appropriate sunscreen this summer vacations and get rid of unwanted sunburns.
